Update from Mitchell, South Dakota

We're still in Mitchell, hoping that a new fuel pump will solve our problems by late this morning. We highly recommend Pizza Ranch should any of you find yourselves in Mitchell with lots of time on your hands.

As for the last few days in Yellowstone:

Pronghorn antelope

Chasing the trout. Intro to fly fishing

Grizzly

Coyote

We checked off the wildlife list except for wolves which we apparently just missed seeing.

The adventure continues. More updates soon.

More adventure

Fire on the mountainside.

New growth

Elk

Now they tell us

So apparently, we're camped on top of a super volcano with most of this area being inside the caldera(crater) from the last eruption. Does this seem like a good place for a park?

Please enjoy these pictures while we plan an emergency exit plan.

Teton Breakfast and Yellowstone Exploration

Sunset on our last full day in Tetons.

Woke up to a cool morning breakfast cruise

Breakfast on Elk Island with rainbow trout

Yellowstone - surprised by the scale and the number or gas vents, geysers, and mud pots on our afternoon circuit. We saw Old Faithful erupt about 10 min after we got there, but no camera b/c of rain- which stopped as soon as we got to the geyser. It lasted long enough to get us front and center positioning.
